Literacy and Non-Formal

Kaus e Kaza welfare organization is working to educate underprivileged out-of-school children. Junior Jinnah Trust is partnering with KKO in their accelerated learning program with the collaboration of literacy and non-formal education in Punjab. The partnership began on October 1st, 2022. KKO has 203 students and JJT is supporting 100 students by paying 2 lakh per month for better learning opportunities. JJT has introduced computer learning and low-cost fun activities to aid learning and maintains a favorable teacher-student ratio. KKO educates students up to primary level in an accelerated way, the school is registered under literacy non-formal education in Punjab, there is no age limit. Classes are offered in K.G, 1, 3, 4, 5, with durations of 6-9 months, students appear in board exams of Grade 5, get the certificate from Literacy non-formal education Punjab after that they can go to any formal school to continue study. Those who continues study in KKO’s school management promotes them to grade 8, then grade 9 and then 10.
