Background:

Established in 2016, JJT’s project in Burma Town, Islamabad, provides Quality Inclusive Education to 500+ children from Play Group to 8th grade and matric classes for girls. The CDC program offers free formal education, fostering academic, social, and emotional growth.

Our goals include instilling a love for learning, promoting critical thinking, and preparing students for success. We aim to develop respectful, responsible, and compassionate individuals, valuing collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in education.

New initiatives during the year 2023:

  • Introduced checkpoints (test series) for the improvement of students.
  • Computer practical classes have been started to enhance their learning.
  • Periodic teacher trainings were conducted to enhance skills.
  • Focus on co-curricular activities for student leadership development.

SUCCESS STORY OF PALWASHA

Meet Palwasha, a brilliant 16-year-old from Junior Jinnah Trust School. Starting in Kg-ll, she overcame financial constraints to pass her matriculation in 2023. Now, as an assistant teacher, Palwasha’s journey showcases resilience, academic excellence, and dedication. Her participation in extracurriculars highlights leadership and passion for learning.

Established in 2017 by local activists, the school in remote areas aimed at providing quality education. Later, connected with JJT for educational continuity, the school empowers rural communities, breaking the cycle of poverty through essential skills and fostering economic growth. Quality education opens doors to opportunities, cultivating innovation, critical thinking, and community engagement. Ensuring access to education bridges the urban-rural gap, creating a more equitable society for everyone to thrive and contribute meaningfully.
