Covid-19 Relief Program

In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the virus was causing widespread financial distress, the Junior Jinnah Trust (JJT) quickly mobilized to help those in need. The organization launched its COVID-19 relief program in early 2020, and through a fundraising campaign, JJT was able to raise an impressive 7.2 million dollars. These funds were used to provide critical aid to those affected by the pandemic, particularly low-income families, laborers, and daily wagers.

The JJT facilitated 2000 families through their program by providing them with monthly ration for 2 months. This support helped to alleviate the immediate food insecurity that many families were facing as a result of lost wages and job losses due to the pandemic. The JJT also provided the families with essentials such as masks, sanitizers, and other preventive items. JJT’s swift response and generous support played a vital role in helping many vulnerable families to survive the difficult months of the pandemic.
