Flood Relief Program

In response to the devastating floods that impacted Sindh and Balochistan in Pakistan in 2022, the Junior Jinnah Trust (JJT) launched its “Adopt a Village” project to provide critical aid to affected communities. JJT has set up 30 camps in the Sindh Sangar area, providing essential support to 40 families who were affected by the floods. The organization is providing these families with monthly ration and food support to help them recover and rebuild their lives.

In addition to providing food assistance, JJT is also providing winter clothing, shelter tents, and cooked food to help families stay warm and protected during the harsh winter months. The JJT also provides medical support to the families to help them cope with any illnesses or injuries they may have sustained during the floods. This comprehensive approach to aid aims to not only alleviate immediate needs, but also to support the long-term recovery of affected communities. The JJT has also established a community based rehabilitation center in the area to help the families to cope with the aftermath of flood and to provide psychological support to the affected families.
