Junior Jinnah Trust, a non-profit organization, has recently initiated an innovative education project named “ANDALUS” for out-of-school children (OOSC) in a Mosque-based project that was launched in December 2022. The aim of this project is to provide quality education and a holistic development to the OOSC who are currently not enrolled in any formal education system.
The project is currently enrolling 40 children and providing them with a comprehensive curriculum that includes basic literacy and numeracy skills, as well as other important life skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. The curriculum is designed to help the children develop their full potential and to prepare them for further education or vocational training.
The project also focuses on providing children with a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. The project team works closely with the children, their families, and the community to ensure that the children’s educational needs are met and that they have the support they need to succeed.
The project team comprises of experienced educators and professionals who are dedicated to providing the children with a quality education. They are supported by dedicated volunteers and other community members who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of the OOSC children.
The ANDALUS project is already showing remarkable progress, with the children making significant strides in their learning and development. The project team is confident that with continued support, the children will be able to overcome the barriers to education and achieve their full potential.
